5 Great Basketball Questions
by: Joe Waters – webmaster Thanks for the awesome basketball questions Jocelyn. Here are my answers to your five questions.

1. I started playing basketball when I was about 9 or 10 years old.

2. I started playing basketball at a court in my hometown called “The Spray Pool”. It was the hot spot in town to play basketball.

3. There are so many things that you have to learn to become a good basketball player. If you’re just starting out though, the main thing is to have fun, find some friends to play with, and join a youth basketball league so that you can learn the fundamentals of the game.

4. Again, to become a good basketball player, I would suggest that you join a youth basketball league, attend a basketball camp, or just go to your local basketball court to play.

5. Practicing on your basketball skills is the only way to become a better player. Just like anything else, if you want to be good at something…you must practice.

I hope this helps answer your questions Jocelyn.

How about everyone else…how did you get your start in the game?
