Youth Basketball Offensive Play 10 is designed to create a last-second scoring opportunity!
This is a full-court out-of-bounds play that utilizes multiple screens and cuts to free up the team’s best shooter/scorer for the shot. This is a simple, yet highly effective play that does a great job of creating an easy scoring opportunity.
This play is easy to teach and learn, and can be used at any level of competition. Although, modifications will have to be made for younger players since they may not be able to make the full-court pass. A pass from 4 to 5, and then 5 to 2 would work in this case.
Please note that this play can also be used to advance the ball past half-court to call a time-out. This would then set up another play for a last-second shot.
In order to run this play effectively, players must first understand the fundamentals of basketball. Once players can perform the offensive fundamentals properly, then inbound plays can be incorporated into their game.
